Donna Korren is the founder of Empty Quester™, a community and platform changing the narrative around women 45+. Drawing on decades of experience in branding and consumer strategy, she helps women embrace this stage of life while also helping organizations better understand one of today's most influential, yet misrepresented, audiences.

Before founding Empty Quester™, Donna Korren built a career in advertising at Vogue and Time Inc. before launching her own lifestyle magazine, Elements. She later stepped away from publishing to raise her two daughters.
When her youngest left for college in 2018, Donna found herself entering a new chapter alongside millions of other women. Rather than seeing the empty nest as an ending, she saw it as an opportunity to redefine what came next.
That experience inspired the creation of Empty Quester™.

Donna began by leading "What's Next?" workshops, helping new empty nesters navigate this transformative stage of life with confidence and purpose. As she shared her message online, she connected with thousands of midlife women whose honest conversations reinforced the need for a more authentic narrative around women 45+.
Today, she leads the Empty Quester™ Circle, an exclusive virtual community where women support one another, embrace new opportunities, and redefine what this chapter of life can look like. Through Empty Quester™, Donna also partners with brands and organizations to help them better understand and authentically engage the influential 45+ consumer.

Empty Questers represent a powerful demographic.
We have more disposable income than our younger counterparts and more time to enjoy the products and services targeting our age group. We are wise and discerning, loyal to products we like but suddenly adventurous to try new things. Everything is shifting:
We move. We downsize and furnish new homes. Some of us buy the vacation house of our dreams.
We buy new cars: so long SUV; how about a convertible?
We travel again for the first time in years. We go abroad. We visit friends across the country. And we plan quick getaways with our free time.
We hire a new financial planner to help us protect our retirement nest egg and make the most of our investments.
And nearly all of us are finding new exercise routines and beauty regimens to fit our new lifestyle.
We are vibrant, adventurous, and open to all possibilities.
